Visa has developed Payment Application Best Practices (PABP) to help software vendors create secure payment applications. Secure payment applications are needed for merchants be compliant with the PCI Data Security Standard.

1. Gap analysis

2. Requirements consulting
   After the gap analysis is complete then you may have questions on the most efficient and cost effective ways to meet the PABP requirements. Your SecurityMetrics' auditor has experience with other customers resolving these issues. We are available to help you determine the best method to achieve PABP compliance.
   


3. PABP evaluation
   Once your payment application is ready your SecurityMetrics' auditor will evaluate it and let you know of any issues requiring resolution. Once all issues are resolved your report is submitted to Visa for approval.
